What we do

Our vision is for communities to recognise and embracing the challenges that life presents to older people – including those affected by dementia – enabling them to live life to its full potential by providing a full circle of support within the community.

Our mission is to:

  1. Address inequalities for older people in rural locations, tackling demographic and geographic challenges in a positive manner
  2. Establish integrity by endorsing best practice for rural communities
  3. Build lasting partnerships with key stakeholders as well as local voluntary and community organisations
  4. Promote sustainability and succession within the community
  5. Make sure change continues to happen for older people – including those affected by dementia – so that their changing identified needs within rural communities are properly reflected
  6. Develop and deliver activities/services that will translate the evidence in to practice
